Nucleus of dark

     Duo of officers dressed in scanty clothes and entered the tavern individually. They sat down at one table in the corner and ordered a weak drink to keep their sober mind. After a moment, some drunken animal approached to them and began to ineptly woo the vixen. She replied:

"Another time, goldie ..."

He disappeared digusted and Judy flushed and said:

"How good that Nick doesn't see me now ..."

The sun began to set, and the policemen feared that someone recognized them, or thieves had begun to meet elsewhere. Suddenly, a hooded guy with a handkerchief came in to the bar and slid a few pieces of paper between the wooden support and the wall, then headed for the exit. Joe ran behind him, and Judy watched the place where the figure put notes.



Vixen followed the individual to his vehicle. It resembled the hybrid of a delivery van and a camper with doors on the sides and at the back. The guy was often looking around, so Joe was almost certain that he had something on his conscience.

She saw how he entered the camper inside. She went to the side window and saw as the list of stolen items appears on the laptop screen. She didn't wait any longer. She rushed inside, measuring from the pistol to the individual. It turned out, he's very skinny, but the smile didn't disappear from his lips.

"Lay down, on the ground!"

"You think you'll stop me? This camper is my kingdom ..."

Then the engine itself started. Using the surprise of vixen, the slim animal slammed the pistol out of her hand and hit her face so strong, that she staggered and fell rearwards the camper, under the small pontoon hanging on the wall. An individual grabbed a pistol and pointed it at her chest.

"I know you, you've been hindering my work lately. You probably didn't find my equipment? I'm not surprised, my autopilot gives me lots of opportunities. Thanks driving all day on the motorway, I'm inviolable. I don't want to do that, but if I stopped myself, the boss would kill us both. This knowledge has no right to go beyond this vehicle ..."

Then he pressed the trigger. Unexpectedly, he heard a deaf and bare sound.

"He wasn't loaded, so you're not informed very well," she said, and pushed the slim man back with both legs. He dropped the pistol and hit his head on the steering wheel. Joe grabbed the pistol and hit the subject with a flask, depriving him unconsciousness. She reached for the handcuffs in her back pocket, but she couldn't find them.

"What are you looking for?" The bear replied, holding in his hand the police handcuffs. He stood at the back door and pointed at her from his gun. Joe slowly turned and looked at him.
"You don't have to worry, my piece is loaded ..." He added with a smile on his face.

"Henry?"  Vixen asked sarcastically.

"You're so surprised? Did you really think I was retired?" He laughed so that shivers went over her back.

"Do you have something to do with it?"

"Do I have SOMETHING in common? This is my work!"  He barked   "Berg and the rest of losers robbed me of well-paid job. Don't worry. When the mayor sees what happens when I do not command the police in this city, he will beg me to return to the service! Berg will fly out, and I will put up the whole police station for the money!"

"What about us?" Thin guy asked, leaning back and leaning against the steering wheel. "You were supposed to share all money!"

"Hahah, and what else? You are lucky that I didn't betray you, when I was still ruling, I had a dozen chances for it! Now nobody will be enough rich to have anything to say ..."

Joe spotted the slow opening up the rear door.

"That will be my police town! Every officer will have heavy armament, only the best equipment. EVERYONE who doesn't adjust, will feel the strength of these rifles on his own skin, and you will be the first ..."  He finished applying the pistol to vixen's forehead.

Behind the bear's back appeared a chain, which immediately stroke from the bottom into the bear's hand, which held the pistol.

But the gun fired...
